About LaunchedSaas
An independent SaaS review and comparison site, built by a web developer who uses these tools every day.
I'm a freelance web developer specialised in JavaScript with almost 10 years of experience building websites and web applications. Over the years I've tested a large number of SaaS tools - email marketing platforms, project management tools, CRMs, automation tools - to support client projects and my own work.
I started LaunchedSaas because I found that most SaaS comparison sites were either too superficial or clearly influenced by the affiliate budgets of software vendors. My goal: honest reviews written by someone who actually uses these tools, with a technical and practical perspective.
I hold a Master's degree in Communication Consulting (BAC+5, Université de Franche-Comté) and a JavaScript/React certification equivalent to BAC+4 (Wild Code School). I work fluently in both French and English - which is why LaunchedSaas offers full bilingual coverage.
How we review tools
Every tool on LaunchedSaas is evaluated using the same consistent framework. Here's what that looks like in practice.
1. Hands-on testing
We create an account, import data, set up automations, send campaigns - depending on what the tool supports. No documentation summaries, no screenshots pulled from the vendor's website.
2. Fixed scoring grid
The same criteria for every tool within a category: ease of use, feature depth, value for money, support quality, and technical reliability. An overall score out of 5 follows from these dimensions.
3. No pay-to-rank
No vendor pays to receive a better score or a featured placement. Some links are affiliate links (clearly labelled), but affiliate relationships never influence ratings.
4. Regular updates
SaaS products evolve fast. Articles are updated when a tool changes significantly - pricing, new features, repositioning. The last-updated date is always shown on the article.
Transparency & affiliate disclosure
LaunchedSaas is monetised in two ways: affiliate links (a commission is paid if you sign up to a tool via our link, at no extra cost to you) and Google AdSense. These revenue streams fund the time spent testing and writing.
All affiliate links are clearly identified with an "affiliate link" label or the rel="sponsored" attribute. The presence of an affiliate relationship has no influence on a tool's score or ranking.
